Spring Laying Hens
We raise baby chicks for the community and sell them when they are pullets, with a minimum purchase of 6. Pullets are like teenage chickens, they aren't quite adults/ ready to lay eggs yet, but they are no longer babies. They will be 3 months old and ready to go outside. They no longer need any form of heat lamp or extra care. Laying hens typically begin laying eggs around 6 months old, however that is also dependent on breed type, feed and weather.
These pullets will be ready for pick up Saturday & Sunday May 2nd and May 3rd

This year's breed selection includes:
Silver Laced Wyandotte
Easter Egger
Buff Orpington
Black Australorp

***(Note: We always leave a buffer room to ensure everyone gets what they want, however life happens so orders may be substituted with another breed(s) if absolutely necessary)
